With Big 12 Title in Balance, Texas and Kansas Face Off
Welcome to Super Bowl week! The countdown is on for Sunday night, and I can’t wait. But tonight, tune in for a big Monday in men’s college basketball, where we’ve got a fun doubleheader starting with Duke vs. Miami followed by Texas vs. Kansas. Plus, Giannis Antetoukounmpo takes on Damian Lillard in some late-night NBA action.
Here’s what I’m watching today.
MUST WATCH:
Men’s CBB: No. 5 Texas at No. 9 Kansas
Rodney Terry has stabilized the Texas program after Chris Beard’s midseason firing, leading the Longhorns to the top of the Big 12 standings as we hit the home stretch of conference play. The Longhorns could take full control of the league title race by winning at Allen Fieldhouse tonight against another top contender in Kansas. Winning on the road at Kansas State over the weekend gave Texas some room to breathe in the title race, while the Jayhawks are looking to bounce back after losing at Iowa State on Saturday.
